The InputPup Light O Rama allows connection of up to 8 inputs to your LOR network. These inputs can be activated by a large button, a pressure pad by the door, or a passive infrared detector near the street that senses approaching vehicles. Multiple Input Pups can be used for more available inputs and require version 2.1.2 or higher of the Light-O-Rama Software Suite. The product provides Gnd, (+9vdc power input), and 8 Trigger Inputs, with power usually coming from the Cat5 cable's accessory power. If not available, a 9vdc power supply can be used. For enhanced reliability, the InputPup's inputs are optically isolated and ESD protected, meeting the IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 standards: 15 kV (air discharge), 8 kV (contact discharge).
